Glistening

I’m glistening

Like the water on the rocks

Like the mirror in the sky

Like the moon and stars at night

I’m glistening

I found a river in me

Tumultuous and wild

Fierce like the Mother

I found a river in me

Playful like a child

I found a river in me

I let the river take me

Bathe me in its wisdom

Fill me up with life

I let the river take me

Cleansing the parts that must die

I’m glistening

Like the water on the rocks

Like the mirror in the sky

Like the moon and stars at night

I’m glistening

The river enters my veins

Water from my fingers

Falling from my feet

The river enters my veins

I feel it merge with my energy

I’m glistening

Like the water on the rocks

Like the mirror in the sky

Like the moon and stars at night

I’m glistening

(Brug)

Afraid that it was lost

River had dried up

I opened up a hatch

River of excess

While breaking down the dam

Discovered who I am

I’m glistening

Like the water on the rocks

Like the mirror in the sky

Like the moon and stars at night

I’m glistening
