I am a butterfly

I just got out of my chrysalis

But I can’t adapt to changes as easily, or gleefully

And that’s why I know that butterfly ain’t me

I am a lonely wolf

I live free with my own instincts

But I don’t have it in me to be lonely, for an eternity

And that’s why I know that lone wolf ain’t me

If all the roads are open

Then where do I go?

There’s a thousand fates to follow

But how do I know

Which one’s mine?

So I change my mind and go back again

I am a flying hawk

Compassion is my kingdom

But I don’t have its visions to tell me where I’m meant to be

And that’s why I know that flying hawk ain’t me

The only species I know that changes so fast is a hummingbird (hummingbird)

Cuz when it smells a flower it can even fly backwards (fly backwards)

It don’t care about a simple road it just goes with the flow

To care a little less about the road just spread the love I guess I’ve gotta learn (I’ve gotta learn)
