max. 8 participantsDo you want to discover how to write a song, or grow further in what you already make? In these accessible group workshops you work at your own level on a specific part of songwriting, such as lyrics, melody or rhyme. You learn by doing, and from each other.
Team workshop
Writing together as another way of listening.
Open workshops take place in the ballet studio of De Hoeksteen in Uithoorn, with a maximum of eight participants. On location and bespoke by arrangement.

Discover step by step how to come up with your own melodies, try them out and develop them into something that sounds natural and like you.

Write a song in one day
Write a complete song between 10:00 and 17:00. I adapt the day to what you need to really arrive at a finished song.
Writing lyrics
Deepen your lyrics with techniques like stable vs. unstable and vivid language, and learn how to make lyrics stronger, sharper and more meaningful.
Co-writes
Discover how to write a song together, share ideas and complement each other, and how much you can learn from each other’s writing process.
